We’re not living like we’re meant to. In order to live fulfilling lives, we must restore 8 life areas to align with how humans are wired to live.
That was the point of a previous letter I sent.
Here are the 8 life areas visualized:
Blue represents our mind, with Mindfulness and Minimalism.
Red represents our body, with Diet and Fitness.
Yellow represents our connections, with Relationships and Contribution.
Green represents our environment, with Simplicity and Nature.
These 8 life areas are universal—but the order of working on them is individual. We are all at different stages of living naturally aligned lives.
Lasting change is gradual. No one changes their whole ingrained lifestyle overnight with sustainable success. Therefore, it is important for everyone to figure out their own personal path to natural happiness.
If you already have a decently healthy relationship toward media, but are chronically stressed and completely unable to live in the moment, you’re better off focusing on cultivating mindfulness than shaving a few more minutes off your screen time.
We have to prioritize the biggest culprits.
We’re all human, with the same needs. We just have to figure out our own paths to fulfill them.
