On being content

A short poem

Contentment is a quiet joy,

A feeling that's hard to describe,

It comes from within, a simple joy,

That fills our hearts and lives.

It's not about the things we own,

Or the places that we go,

It's about being satisfied,

And letting our worries go.

So let's seek contentment every day,

In all that we do and say,

For when we find it, we'll be okay,

No matter what comes our way.
