Admiring busyness is silly

"I've been really busy" isn't something to say proudly

I’m the first one to admit that I’m still too busy. That’s because it was something I thought was good and strived for the better part of the last decade, and now it’s a habit that’s hard to get out of. Fortunately, I’ve gotten better at it, and I’m confident that the trend will continue as I keep unlearning the habit.

Constantly doing something takes a real toll on creativity.

It affects my productivity, so I get the same amount done in ten hours that I would in three if I were mentally and physically better rested.

It gives the false feeling of usefulness and being on the right track in our society when in reality, it’s much more useful both for yourself and others to be a more balanced human being.

I will never again proudly say that I’ve been busy.

I can’t stop reading this post! I need to really be intentional with myself about this one. How’d you go about getting rid of the habit Sebastian? Maybe a quick run down of things you put in place?
