Modern life is unnatural to humans in many ways, and it’s making us feel anxious, depressed, and lost. We’re simply not wired to live like this.
We eat unnaturally
We exercise unnaturally
Our goals are unnatural
Our relationship to others is unnatural
We’re constantly in unnatural environments
We’re exposing our senses to unnatural stimulation
… to name a few.
This is why succeeding in our society doesn’t give us the happiness, fulfillment, and tranquility we’re hoping for. Counting calories, getting ripped in the gym, winning at work, outshining our peers, getting attention on social media, building fancy houses in artificial neighborhoods, and using the latest tech leaves us just as empty as we were before “success”.
To experience real change, we need to go back to our natural ways.
